Community Connections
Hi there, my good friends, another busy month full of activities. After the triumph of our 1st Woodwork project we are now making a 2nd template for another Fire truck. There is a lot of satisfaction in seeing the wood transform under my hands. In Creative Kitchen, I had the chance to make a tray of kumara, cheese and sweetcorn breadcases. They were delish.Wow the savoury aromas drifted through the whole centre! I also helped to make a dish of devilled sausages on rice with a side of roasted butternut from our Wilrose garden. In Photography we are working on Self expressions and setting the camera on a timer and as always I love my work outs in the gym. We got busy with Coast care and planted 200 plus Spinaflax to replenish our sand dunes. I played a game of pool with the boys, ball games and went for a bush walk at I Anson Reserve. We went checking for bugs, fungi and anything else of interest using the binoculars, too!. Well that's it from me
